'Wise men' in the Bible

And Jesus having been born in Bethlehem of Judaea, in the days of Herod the King, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,

Then Herod, having privately called the wise men, ascertained from them exactly the time the star appeared;

Then Herod, seeing that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly enraged; and, having sent forth, he slew all the male children in Bethlehem, and in all its borders, from two years old and under, according to the time which he exactly learned from the wise men.

Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them ye will kill and crucify, and some ye will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

I am speaking as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
